VIBE BREDAHL

Born 1974.
Lives and works in Copenhagen.

Educated at The Royal Danish Acadamy of Fine Arts 1994-2000.

Vibe Bredahl works primarily with drawings and artist books. Fall 2005 Martin Asbæk Projects presented the show PUN BIRDS based on drawings from Bredahl's artist book released in connection with the show.

In visual interpretations of proverbs ad phases Bredahl displays a subtle poetic word game. Nothing is steady and meanings constantly change. In spite of its playful nature, PUN BIRDS deals with heavy existential topics such as loss, death and unreturned love.

In 2008 she presented a major solo exhibition in mixed media "The Journey" in Martin Asbæk Projects.
